Let the cameras flash..... you're the star
Well look who it is it's Clover strutting on that red carpet, and only 19. Must be really lucky to be you. Was wonderin', how can we get a hold of a star like you? ("UNAVAILABLE")
And now... on the silver screen it's James Potter played by play by. At only James Potter, he/she's become a superstar!
Now, let's work some M O V I E magic
~Name~ James Harold Potter III
~Age~ 15
~Nicknames~ Prongs
~Year~ 5th
~House~ Gryffindor
~Special Abilities?~ Animagus (work in progress)
It's about to get a little H O T in here
~Hair Color~ Jet Bleck
~Eye Color~ Hazel
~Build~ Lanky, but somewhat toned from his time playing Quidditch.
~Style of Hair~ Unruly and wild.
~Detailed Appearance~ Not unlike his fathers, James’ hair has always been rather unruly and wild. It never seems to want to obey the orders of his comb and often decides instead to stick up rather awkwardly in the back. Of course, James being the boy he is, can't be bothered by such things as hairstyling. So he's developed a bad habit of messing up the rest of his head just to make it even throughout.
His eyes on the other hand, were handed down to him by his mother. A soft tone of hazel, framed in a set of thick black glasses; without them, James is blind as a bat.
It really is no wonder that James seems to have all the ladies swooning Hogwarts. He’s a genuinely handsome lad with the strength for Quidditch to boot. He still maintains the tall slender build he has had through all his years at school, and the shaggy signature black hair is always as untamable as ever.
Let that P E S R O N A L I T Y shine
~Patronus~ He's still been working on his charm, but it seems to be taking the shape of a stag.
~Boggart~ James is deathly afraid of , a secret he will take to his grave. If Sirius ever found out, James would never live it down.
~Mirror or Ersid~ James hasn't quite decided what he wants to do with the rest of his life, though he's obviously considered Quidditch as a career choice. Something has always attracted him to the adventure and danger that comes along with being an auror, but working for the Ministry has never really sat right with James.
~Amortentia~ He's always been attracted to the scent of flowers on a a girl.
~Detailed Personality~ Though overly cocky at times, James really has developed a head for bravery; and with it comes the loyalty of a thousand steeds. Though many of his actions in the past may have said otherwise of him, James really is developing into quite the young man.
He has never been afraid to go after exactly what he wants, and for the most part, he knows how to get it. Then again, he wasn’t afraid to use his fierce hunger for success to help his friends when they were in need; such as his good friend Remus Lupin. It took them quite some time to coax the secret identity out of the shy wolf, but even before they had they were working together to find a way to make each full moon a bit more bearable for their good mate. It took nearly 3 years but their devotion and tedious work finally paid off as now they are able to transform each month into their animal forms and escort Moony across the grounds without having to worry of the endangerment of another student.
But of course, with such bravery that James possesses, comes a reasonable amount of arrogance. He has been regarded in the past, mostly by a certain Ms. Evans, to be some what pig headed. But you could never get James to admit to this of course. His reckless actions are always getting him into trouble, and though he never outwardly admits to a prank to anyone but his closest of friends (of whom being the Marauders), he rarely denies the blame. Much of the attention has obviously gone to his head and resulted in his often egotistical attitude. No wonder James was so shocked when he was first rejected by Miss Perfect Prefect herself, Lily Evans; because it had never happened before.
Mommy dearest, can I see the P I C T U R E again?
~Mother~ Roxanne Potter
~Father~ James Potter Jr.
~Siblings~ None
~Family Pet~ Hobs, the family dog.
~Other Relatives of Importance?~ None
~Detailed History~ In August of 1959, James became the first and only child of a respectable wizarding family that his father had worked tirelessly to establish. The Potters were well known among the wizarding world as fair people. When they hosted social gatherings in their home, they made sure that no one was turned away. They had enough sense to share their wealth and take pity on those who were less fortunate then themselves; more than anything though, they just wanted the best for their son.
James, though he had never been one for the rich lifestyle, was developing into quite the charming young boy. He only attended as many of his parents parties as he did, because he knew it would make his mother happy. She wore the largest smile the world had ever seen when she was able to brag about her little boy. Even James didn’t have the heart to strip her of that happiness.
It was always presumed that the Potter boy would do great things. He would be a fine addition to the wizarding world once he had received the proper education, and where else could you get the best education that money could buy other than at Hogwarts; the best known wizarding school in the whole of England. Some students even traveled from surrounding countries to attend this prestigious school. It wasn’t a surprise to anyone when James received his letter accepting him to Hogwarts, and what a name James would make for himself once there.
He had only just stepped on the train, his first year at school, when trouble first presented itself. James took a seat in a cart; along with him were two other boys that he found out to be Remus Lupin and Sirius Black. He had no idea at this point that these two, along with another, would soon become his best mates and life-long friends. Remus was soon fast asleep in his seat, and James and Sirius seemed to be able to talk endlessly as their interests were just so similar. But all too soon, in walked trouble.
Lucius Malfoy, a 2nd year Slytherin came to greet his relative. Apparently he and Sirius were distantly related (James sometimes thought that it seemed that everyone of pure blood was easily related. His parent’s had told him of the prejudice many families held against those wizards of muggle born blood and they had rightfully taught him that it was wrong and inhumane to hold such feelings. Either way, seeing as how close each pure-blood family was, it was rather incestuous that the line had remained ‘pure’ for so long). It wasn’t long before they had all got into an argument. James was surprised to see that Sirius had taken his side, against what Lucius called ‘the better judgment of the Black family’.
After that, trouble just seemed to seek him out. Of course, in time, James learned to make the best of it and he and his friends even began to start their own trouble. There was still one more addition to the group that still had to be made of course. James didn’t much like Peter at first. He seemed far too clingy and there was something off about him that James didn’t much trust. Remus seemed to want to take pity on him, and Sirius couldn't give heads or tales. So in the end, after Peter proved himself, James began to trust him. It wasn’t long before they adopted a name for themselves; the Marauders. Together they gallivanted around the school and Hogsmeade, making trouble where they saw fit and unlocking the secrets of the old castle.
Things weren’t all fun and games in the lives of the Marauders. At first, James took no notice to the disappearance of Remus Lupin each month. He fell ill or had to visit his mother, or he’d disappear for days at a time into the library working on some big project that strangely enough, he was the only one in their class to have been assigned. Sooner or later, the others would catch on, and they did. It took them quite awhile to look past their doubts towards the truth, but James, Sirius and Peter soon revealed the fiery little secret their friend kept so dearly. Remus John Lupin was a werewolf and each month, he made his journey across the lawns to the newly planted Whomping Willow (which no one but the Marauders dared to go within 30 yards of) and through the secret tunnel that lied under its roots, to the Shack that sat on top of a hill in Hogsmeade. It had recently been named the Shrieking Shack by local villagers who believed that unsettled spirits had come back to haunt it. James knew better now though.
They worked tirelessly for months to find a solution to the problem that ailed their friend. There was no cure for lycanthropy, but maybe they could ease the pain and torment he went through each night he transformed by transforming themselves. They soon began to seek solutions in the art of Transfiguration. They discovered that Werewolves were only a major threat to humans. If they were able to transform into animals, then they could accompany Remus each month without having to worry. Well, that’s exactly what they did. It may have taken them the better part of three years to get their animigi forms in check, but when they were certain they had mastered the art (James and Sirius anyways; they feared Peter may never get it exactly right) they confronted Remus about his secret, and accompanied him to the Shack for their first of many nights out on the full moon. Soon they were even confident enough of themselves that they could keep the wolf in line and took their adventures out onto the grounds. James and the others of course kept Remus’ secret to themselves. They couldn’t help but have a little fun with it though. James and Sirius came up with little nicknames (against Remus’ better judgment) for each other which they still often use to this day. Remus being Moony; James being Prongs (as his animigus form was a stag); Sirius being Padfoot (a dog); and Peter adopted the name Wormtail (a rat).
